SOTA OE/SB-229 Sonnkogel

Today WX was very hot but we (my YL and me) decided to climb a little hill called Sonnkogel (1.727m, 6 Points). Due to we drove up by car quite far the climb up time was only abt. 1 hour and 15 minutes. After setting up the Buddistick I started calling CQ SOTA with the FT-817…

There was a contest too at this weekend – so I guess this was the reason that not many stations came back to the call. Thanks to my friendly OM`s OE2SNL, OE2WNL and OE2WNL/2nd Operator Leo (soon OE2WNP)…
